AMPLIFY is Southpaw Dance Company’s bold new community performance company, rooted in Sunderland and driven by the voices, movement, and energy of people across the North East.

Meeting regularly at our new home in Southpaw Studio at Sheepfolds, AMPLIFY brings together local participants of all ages and backgrounds to create dynamic, high-impact performances alongside Southpaw’s professional company dancers.

From large-scale outdoor productions to intimate film work and movement experiments, AMPLIFY is your chance to shape stories that matter — stories from the North East, told by those who live them.

This isn’t just dance. It’s a declaration, a movement, a growing force for creativity, community, and change.
