We’re looking for people from Sunderland and the surrounding area to join the cast of HOME - a major new performance marking the opening of Culture House Sunderland.
Created by Southpaw Company, HOME will bring local people together with professional performers and digital artists to celebrate Sunderland’s people, creativity, heritage and future.
ABOUT HOME
Put on a headset and step into an extraordinary Sunderland story. Created to open Culture House, HOME combines breathtaking digital worlds with live performances from a professional cast and community members. Journey through the city’s past, into the universe and towards a future filled with possibility.
CAST INFORMATION
You don’t need to be a dancer or have any performance experience. The movement will be created with the group, and everyone will be supported throughout the process.
We welcome all bodies, identities, backgrounds and experiences. You simply need to be aged 16+, open to taking part and able to attend the rehearsals and performances.

Participants are expected to commit to approximately 80% attendance across the rehearsal period. We appreciate that other responsibilities and commitments may prevent attendance, but regular participation is important for the success of the production. If you're aware of any dates that you won't be able to attend, please let us know as early as possible so we can plan rehearsals and make any necessary adjustments.
