TOMMY & TERESA COMMISSIONED!

We’re proud to announce that Southpaw Company, in collaboration with Spin Arts and rapper Big Deli, have been commissioned as Without Walls Blueprint artists to R&D Tommy & Teresa — a new outdoor dance-theatre production inspired by Romeo and Juliet and imagined through the lived experiences of Gypsy and Traveller communities.

The project builds on RIDE!, our Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture collaboration with Spin Arts and Romany Gypsy rapper Big Deli / Will Keet, whose voice and lived experience will help shape the lyrical and cultural heart of the work.

Through community engagement and co-creation with Gypsy and Traveller communities, we’ll be developing a bold new outdoor production that celebrates culture, pride and resilience while exploring love, identity, family pressure and the cost of prejudice.
