PERICLES
Pericles was the first in the National Theatre’s new programme, Public Acts. New York’s Public Theater and London’s National Theatre is partnering on a community-based initiative, inspired by The Public’s successful Public Works model of participatory theater that has expanded nationally and internationally since its creation five years ago.
Emily Lim directed a large community ensemble and small cast of professional actors in this new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play by Chris Bush, with movement direction by Robby Graham.
